patented solar

Patented Solar Lens® Dome

Patented reflex optic technology gathers sunlight even during low-light hours in the morning, late afternoon or during the winter, to maximise the light into the tube. The standard dome is made of UV resistant, non-yellowing acrylic. Polycarbonate domes are also available as an option.

leak proof

Leak-proof Design

We have a variety of pitched flashings in 250mm, 400mm & 550mm skylight sizes to suit any roof tile, terracotta, metal roofs and more.

adjustable

Adjustable Tubes

Tubular Skylights have a super reflective, mirror-like light tube with up to 98% reflectivity rate. The entire length of the tubes interior is Miro-Silver®, which has been rated one of the best in its category.

It has been proven that Miro-Silver light tubes transmit much more light between 13.8 and 40 degrees than other light tubes such as Multi-layer Polymeric Film. This makes Miro-Silver the best option to transmit daylight when the sun’s angle is low and light is really needed (early morning and late afternoon).

The kit comes with 1.6m long shaft including two adjustable elbows that are angled to help work around obstacles. The UV stabilised finish will not yellow, fade and most importantly will not delaminate

triple lens

Triple Lens Glass Diffuser

Spreads soft, natural light throughout interior spaces. The outer prismatic lens spreads light and eliminates hot spots, while the two inner lenses reduce solar heat gain and eliminate condensation in colder climates. Other ceiling diffuser options are also available.

Designed for easy installation

Tubular Skylights can be installed in about 2 hours or less. No painting, no wiring or structural roof changes are required. The product has also been designed in a way that an average handy do-it-yourself homeowner can perform the installation. It requires basic DIY skills. Full step-by-step illustrated instructions are provided with each kit.

The DL range of tubular skylights are ENERGY STAR® qualified. For more information on ENERGY STAR®products, visit www.energystar.gov

Performance: *Based on full mid-day sun.

U-Value measures how well a product prevents heat from escaping. The lower the U-value is, the greater a skylight’s resistance to heat flow and the better its insulating value.

Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) measures how well a product blocks heat caused by sunlight. The lower a skylight’s solar heat gain coefficient, the less solar heat it transmits in the building.

Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) measures how much light comes through a product. The higher the VLT, the more light is transmitted
